LEGO® Movie Adventures: Grades TK-5th

What movie will we explore each week? Jurassic Park, Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter, Pokemon, Angry Birds, Ninjas and more! Each class will focus on a movie we will adapt for ourselves. How will we escape from the LEGO® Dinosaurs to how agile are we as Ninjas to land on our targets we built? A challenge is given based on each movie to solve. If I gave you a LEGO® motor would you be able to motorize your build? Just try... 6 Classes: 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7 & 2/14 $96.00

Who: Students entering 1st - 5th grade in Fall 2018

What: Spanish language classes led by native speakers - Students will learn vocabulary related to a variety of everyday themes, practice using it within sentences, and master many useful phrases. Program uses a full-immersion approach, and students learn while singing songs, playing games, and doing hands-on projects. Numerous optional culturally-oriented fieldtrips and activities offered throughout the year. Maximum enrollment of 12 students per instructor. Space is limited. New students will be placed in 1st year Spanish. Continuing students will be grouped by proficiency and curriculum will expand to new subject areas that encourages them to build upon previous knowledge.

Where: John Baldwin Elementary School (rooms TBD)

When: 7:45 am - 8:30 am, Monday - Friday 

Dates: Sept. 24, 2018 - May 31, 2019 (32 weeks, follows school calendar)
