Snapology

Here's Snapology's next session of after school classes at John Baldwin Elementary School on Thursdays! We offer after school enrichment in STEM/STEAM using LEGO® and other construction builds. Snapology will be held in the Library after school. You can register online at trivalley.snapology.com

MEGA MACHINES Robotics Grades 1st-5th

In Snapology's Mega Machine Robotics class, your child will create some of their favorite motorized vehicles. Students
will learn about gear ratio, sensors, pulleys, cranks, and programming as they build trucks, space rovers, helicopters, and much more. Your child is sure to have fun as they build, learn, and play.

Who: Students entering 1st - 5th grade in Fall 2018

What: Spanish language classes led by native speakers - Students will learn vocabulary related to a variety of everyday themes, practice using it within sentences, and master many useful phrases. Program uses a full-immersion approach, and students learn while singing songs, playing games, and doing hands-on projects. Numerous optional culturally-oriented fieldtrips and activities offered throughout the year. Maximum enrollment of 12 students per instructor. Space is limited. New students will be placed in 1st year Spanish. Continuing students will be grouped by proficiency and curriculum will expand to new subject areas that encourages them to build upon previous knowledge.

Where: John Baldwin Elementary School (rooms TBD)

When: 7:45 am - 8:30 am, Monday - Friday 

Dates: Sept. 24, 2018 - May 31, 2019 (32 weeks, follows school calendar)
