WHAT IS THE COUGAR ED FUND?
The Cougar Education Fund (CEF), an affiliate of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF), is a non-profit organization that drives the primary fundraising for John Baldwin Elementary School.
Founded in 1999, CEF is comprised of parent volunteers, our school principal, a staff/faculty representative, and a PTA liaison. CEF is dedicated to generating money through tax-deductible contributions that fund critical programs, technology needs, social-emotional wellness staff and resources, student skill intervention, and much more.
The programs and resources that CEF provides are not paid for by our district or the state of California. CEF bridges funding gaps to allow our students to experience an outstanding and enriching educational environment.
The CEF’s budgeting process gathers valuable insight and feedback from parents, our school’s Site Council, teachers, and administration to understand which programs will most benefit our children's education at John Baldwin Elementary.
