About Our Principal
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
I am honored to be the new principal of John Baldwin Elementary School, and to be a part of this extraordinary community. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate and partner with you as we finish out the 2023-24 school year.
My husband David and I have lived in Pleasanton for over 20 years. My son Carl is currently a freshman at Chico State University, and my daughter Madeline is a junior at Foothill High School in Pleasanton. I also attended Chico State University for my Bachelor's degree, and received my Masters Degree in Curriculum from Cal State East Bay. I enjoy hiking and being active, but spending time with family is my favorite!
This school year marks my 23rd year in education, and my 3rd year working as an administrator. I bring to your school over twenty years of experience in elementary education as I previously taught grades K-5. My first and foremost goal includes supporting each and every student to ensure their social emotional well being and academic success.
As we enter the spring, it is my hope that we work together to continue to provide the best opportunities for all students at our school. I want you to know that as principal, my door is always open and I welcome your feedback and ideas. It is my intent that we work together to continue the traditions that make John Baldwin Elementary an amazing place where all students feel empowered to reach their full academic and social potential.
